Set a few years before the events of Wrath of the Wyvern, Ashes of the Crow is a cinematic prequel expansion. It is set during a brutal castle siege in a distant land.

Before the Highlands called your name, there was fire in the Valley of the Circlet of Blood. Lord Aelam, also known as the Old Crow, is fighting to defend his city, Crow Cliff, from the siege. As the Corthean mercenaries begin their onslaught, you must decide how far your loyalty and courage will take you.

Defend the walls, protect the people, and stand by your lord in his final hour. From the ashes of the Crow, a hero will arise.

About this Expansion

The events of Ashes of the Crow take place before those of Wrath of the Wyvern. The rules are the same as in the main book, except that you do not gain any Hero Points, as these do not add value to the gameplay. You start the expansion with the basic Health gained during character creation.

This expansion features rule modifications and new mechanics during the siege of Crow Cliff.
